Where does the time go?

They aren't the idiots. The idiots are the ones who insist "Merry Christmas" is the only acceptable greeting. They created the 'war on Christmas' and played the role of the victims.

So today as an experiment, I had a busy social day, all over the map, DMV, Insurance, office, Bank, various shops and a Pub, being my social self, I mixed it up and went with both, Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday and often, gotta tell, nobody said shit but a word in kind. It was a great day. This is an imaginary war they created to give them self importance and something to bitch about. It's like a portion of the population needs a snickers. I'vr just always used "Happy Hollidays" as an all around greeting encumpassing the festive season, not just one day.
