The meme was about the government shutdown, another part of current American politics. You don’t have to bring up Trump here. In fact, it’s counter-productive and makes you look retarded

This meme is trying to deflect from the Trump disaster of the day. That makes it worthy of a Trump mention more than nearly any other type of meme. What's next? Meme's about the Clinton Foundation the same day Trump is forced to close his own? Yeah, I've posted on those too.

Or, more realistically, it could be someone making a meme on a current event that isn’t about Trump. Those exist, you know.

It's nice to know Trump has nothing to do with the shutdown. By the way, the shutdown does not exist yet so is not a current event. The house and Senate are pushing bills to prevent a shutdown, both Dems and Republicans want to prevent a shutdown. There is only ONE person who wants one, threatening to poop his diaper if he does not get his way. But let's divert attention from dick-tator in Chief.

This is pretty simple. If someone posts about the Queen of England, why would I care? If someone posts something suggesting ridiculousness on the left, due to insane behavior on the right, that is fair game for a response.
