Actually, the judge in the case assigned a Public Defender to protect her rights. Her "Federalist," attorney is pimping her out to right wing reporters and putting her defense in jeopardy.

Public defender? Were you born yesterday? NEVER settle for a public defender if you don't have to.
The Public Defender was appointed, according to the news coming out of the court, because the judge thought the defense attorney had created a possible conflict of interest with his actions.
