Any sin, is one too many. So if I have had a very bad day (and days previously, my co-workers continuously play songs rife with foul languages), and I let out a foul word inadvertently, I'm automatically a hypocrite? Or if I'm struggling with a particular sin, but I am also praying repenting of it, am I a hypocrite still?
My objection to this is that I think the author is making a blanket statement on all of us, and that is not fair. I see no literary indication that is speaking of certain Christians.
I see this sort of posts, frequently; and in evangelism. And many unbelievers (not all) love to say that the church is full of hypocrites and would gleefully use our one mistake, as an excuse not go to church, and not to be judged by "Judgmental Christians".
If this post is only for certain Christians who are mercilessly Pharisaical, and commits sins they preached against without godly sorrow which leads to repentance,, then I applaud this post.
If not, then let me quote Paul Washer and scripture. He has said "Do you know why they don't want you to judge? Because they don't want you to turn around and judge them." And the Bible says, that in John 3:18-19, that the world love darkness more than the light.
