City dwellers? You think only city dwellers believe in common sense?

City dwellers have no common sense, and live mostly in a vacuum of misinformation and lies

Sounds like you need to get out more. Crawl out from under that rock and maybe introduce yourself to someone after you shower and don't smell so rancid. Maybe you'll see that people are different. People living in the city, don't all think the same any more than people living in the country. I've never lived in a city and Trumps refusal to believe in climate change is enough reason alone to not vote for him. See, people have independent thoughts from the place they happen to reside.

Oh rebarcadman, thank you. It's such a relief to hear this great news! Where did you earn your doctorate again?

Not from the Karl Marx University of Propaganda and Indoctrination. Remember, PhD stands for Piled Higher & Deeper.

It doesn’t take a doctorate to know when you are looking at bullshit

This is the very mindset that keeps people down. Like a black man who wants to learn about the world around him is uppity. Who exactly do they think they are. Thank goodness folks like you are a minority. If not it would spell the end to another great society. Like the fall of the Byzantine Empire through dogmatic religious views and Christianity, the end to modern thinking spelled an end to the greatest civilization that had existed to that point. Idiocy will lose in the end.

Classic strawman, losing the debate, change the subject to imply racism and lean heavily on past injustice and religions. Water vapor is the key driver of temperature, I'm sure you've never read Pilke, Spencer or others that make a strong case against CO2 being the key driver. If you look at the link I gave, there is no way CO2 comprises enough surface area to reflect the heat it is said to do through forcing. We have only had reliable satellite data since the late 1980s so we are extrapolating 30 years of date as if it is a large enough sample to project thousands of years. We've seen this scam before, acid rain, a real problem in areas of concentrated populations like Athens, Greece, somehow the destruction of lakes and rivers has disappeared. The ozone holes, which were supposed to be increasing solar radiation so much sheep in Australia were going blind- a lie, ozone is created by sunlight breaking up oxygen molecules in the upper atmosphere where they rejoin into 02 or 03 (ozone) The ozone holes were limited to the poles and grew during winter months when sunlight is limited. CFCs- the supposed culprit is a heavy molecule that falls to the ground and is absorbed in soil- it could never get to the ionosphere. Somehow the problem disappeared when the truth came out. The very mindset that mankind is more powerful than this planet is pure idiocy. Stop a tornado, stop a hurricane, stop a rainstorm, anything that happens in nature. You can't, we are not much more than microbes. And if we are destroying the planet with CO2, then the planet is too fragile to support life, amazing that it has managed to do that for 4 1/2 billion years under the harshest of environments- outer space. And we've destroyed it in less than 100 years. BS!

Where have I implied racism? Who exactly is changing the subject? In your ridiculous rant you debunked CO2 as the main driver of climate change when we have ice core samples dating back nearly 3 million years that consistently link CO2 levels with planet temps. There is a constant and consistent link throughout known history. You've debunked acid rain as a problem that went away on its own when countries like Russia and China that burn huge amounts of unfiltered coal continue to have serious problems with it. You've debunked the ozone hole being related to CFC's, when they were banned in 1989 and the hole began to stabilize just 5yrs later and began to repair itself in 2000. The Montreal Protocol is considered to be the most successful international environmental agreement in world history but in your eyes, it's all BS created by people in lab coats to keep their jobs. In fact, the ozone problem is not solved yet and it is expected to take another 50yrs before the ozone hole retracts to pre-1980 levels, all due to man making changes by people who are smarter than both of us. Then, the biggest fallacy of all, that man is incapable of changing the environment. We're just microbes with no effect on our world. Small thinking like this really is shocking. The earth is the center of the universe. The sun rotates around us. There is an unlimited supply of American buffalo. There is an unlimited supply of fish in the ocean. ALL, proven untrue, ignorant, and wrong.

No, they believe the entire planet is as bad as the armpit they live in, which it isn't. CO2 levels and temperatures have been higher, and they have been lower over the 4 1/2 billion year history of the earth- the science of geology proves that. CO2 is essential for life and is not a poison, trees and plants prove that. Ever hear of the Arizona experiment called "Biosphere?" There are all kind of excuses for why it failed, but the facts are that the plant life exploded, leaves dropped and decayed releasing more CO2 and the plants grew even more. To put it in perspective
