Gee, I wonder why Toyota, BMW, Honda, Nissan, VW, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes-Benz, and Subaru, which all have plants in the U.S. are not laying off workers. Maybe they produce better cars, or could it be they don't have unions, or maybe they are just better managed.

The real solution is if China would lower their tariffs, open their markets, stop stealing intellectual property, Trump would remove our tariffs. His goal is to get fair trade.

I don't know that they can wait 20 years. There GDP growth rate is the lowest in 10 years and the off-balance-sheet borrowing by local governments is reported to be astronomical.

Never said unions were the problem. I don't know why GM keeps failing while other car companies don't. It was just a list of differences between these companies.

Get your facts straight, It is not Tariffs that GM is doing this, they are not shutting any plants in other countries, and it is spending billions on their electric, and self driving car lines.
