Trickle down doesn't work.
In theory it works, but the already wealthy just add those tax savings to their coffers and it just kind of dissappears without helping the economy.

I sorta thinking maybe some more socialism is in order , since President Trump gave the 12 billion dollar government bailout to the soybean farmers of which many are already owned by millionaires some of them in congress ...I think perhaps he should give another government socialist bailout this time to these soon to be out of a job GM workers so they can pay the mortgages on the homes he told them not to sell ... Federal government is not responsible for free market but then again a 12 billion billion government sounds like socialist interference in a free market ...hmmm.

Wealthy farmers don't like government handouts...unless it is to them of course.

Gee, I wonder why Toyota, BMW, Honda, Nissan, VW, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes-Benz, and Subaru, which all have plants in the U.S. are not laying off workers. Maybe they produce better cars, or could it be they don't have unions, or maybe they are just better managed.
