Glass and aluminum alloys are melting in these fires. That takes temperatures above 1500C. Gasoline only burns at 950C. Wildfires using wood only burn at 800C. How did the glass and metal melt?

The article has better pictures of the melted glass and metal. Steel doesn't melt at those temperatures, but the aluminum alloys of wheels do.
