Yeah let’s get rid of the first and fifth too. That constitution thing is just an old worn out rag anyways.

I have no problem supporting the second amendment. Just how much do you care about Citizen United? How much do you care about campaign finance reform? If you support Republicans, you are helping dismantle America without ever firing a shot. The second amendment is meaningless and worthless if our country is taken away by corporate interests. Our elected officials are bought and paid for by corporate America. Our new sources are owned by corporate America. The people and their firearms, mean less every day.

Well, I guess you could go to Iran, UAE, China, Russia or other lovely areas of the world that don’t have the protections afforded by the Constitution and see how fantastic living there is.

I'm not going anywhere numbnut. People who use, "why don't you just leave" have no legitimate argument. As a supporter of our Oligarchy, you are also protected by the constitution. I've got a Mac 90, SKS, Mini-30, thousands of rounds and too many 30rd mags to count. The difference is that I also have critical thinking skills that allow me to see what is happening to our country and the unprecedented dismantling of the constitution caused by our current admin. Wrapping your arms around the 2nd amendment and thinking it will protect you while you stick your head in the sand helps no one.

Uh oh, HEY EVERYBODY, we go an internet badass here! The question is, when the impending breakdown in society that you’re apparently prepping for happens, will you have enough razors to trim your neck beard?

You are talking in circles and can't respond any legitimate comments. You have nothing to say about the problems I've mentioned that are disintegrating the document you seem to think is so sacred. The Constitution and the 2nd Amendment this President and congress is making obsolete. As a nation, we are now an Oligarchy and owned by the largest companies ever created. No one needs to worry about what I happen to have for weapons. All you are doing is diverting. Sorry I'm making you think too much.

Umm. In all of your rambling you’ve not pointed out WHAT the problem you perceive is. Oligarchy? Ohhhh boy, that’s a stretch there.

Oligarchy: A small group of people having control of a country, organization, or institution.

30yrs ago I didn't think twice about the cost of gasoline, health insurance or heating fuel. It was so insignificant and such a small percentage of my overall income that it just didn't matter. My first semester of state school cost $1,250.00 in 1984. Between the mid 50's to about 1969, the maximum progressive tax rate was 91% on income above 150 to 200k. This was the greatest growth years of the American middle class. No one mentions the fact that since that time we have seen greatest wealth redistribution in world history with hedge fund managers being taxed today at 15% on the billions of dollars they pull out of the system each year. Any talk of raising their tax rates? That's wealth redistribution. Today, companies are considered people with the same rights as American citizens. Today, reducing the cost of education is met with people accusing the young of being lazy iphone zombies. Today, we have lower upward mobility than England, the very country many of us came from to get away from the stagnant lower classes. Oligarchy is a stretch? You don't see Oligarchy in lifetime house and senate members with unlimited health care and benefits? You don't see Oligarchy in a Supreme Court ruling that businesses are people with unlimited ability to buy our elections? You don't see Oligarchy in a healthcare system that forces people to work for large companies at low pay just for the health care benefits? If you have your head buried that deeply into the sand, I can't help you.

30 years ago EVERYTHING was cheaper, it’s called inflation and cost of living increases and it’s been going on since the country was started. Gasoline to high? Really? It’s averaging $2.23 a gallon where I’m at. As for lifetime elected officials, who puts them there? They are elected and re-elected by their constituents who choose them to represent them so umm yeah there’s that. Nobody is oppressed in this country by “big business” or an “oligarchy” those are pussy excuses made by people who choose to be losers and blame someone else for their own failures rather than look inside themselves. Your argument is invalid and sounds like something some brainwashed kid straight out of high school would make. Come back when you’ve lived in the real world for 10 or 12 years and tell me more.

Since 1982 family income has risen 147%. College cost has risen nearly 500% in that same time. After WWII, we sent American GI's to school for free, which was one of the greatest drivers of the prosperity America saw over the next few decades. No one saw that as a hand out. Today it's called communism. America used to invest in its number one asset, its people. People are still America's number one asset. Citizens United has contributed to keeping horrible people in both house and senate through unlimited campaign contributions. Unlimited campaign finance contributions that have no name and PAC's with no responsibility, is a huge part of the problem. In 2016 more than 1 in every 5 dollars spent in elections, went through unlimited and unrestricted sources of funding. Today it accounts for more than 20% of the overall spending and it continues to be a larger percentage of the total every day.
I have had nothing but success throughout my life. I have owned two businesses.

I bet you were one of the ones complaining and blaming Obama for all your ills just 2yrs ago. You didn't have the drive on your own to make any difference in your own life then? To me, NO government can keep me down. That doesn't mean that I stand with a bucket on my head, oblivious to obvious signs that our system is broken. We should all see fault in our government no matter who is in power and we should call out obvious BS. To think that our system isn't totally screwed right now, is ridiculous. Our country is a mess. If you are so worried about gun rights you should be voting in Dems. They can't manage to get any gun control instituted. It's only been since Repubs have taken over that we've seen the push for gun control. It makes sense. Dems push for it when they are in office and the minority party, "Repubs" do whatever they can to stop any effort. Repubs in control, realize they need to govern and things are a mess so suggest some type of gun control, the Dems are all for it and help it through to make laws. Today we've seen more gun control put into place by Republicans in the last 18 months than we've seen by Dems in 8yrs. What is black is white and what is white, is black. This is the new normal.

It’s called the GI Bill and it’s still in effect. By the way, it’s not “free” and hasn’t been for the last 30 years. I know from experience that you pay in to it for the first year that you’re in the military and then after that you are done. As for the economy, how’d that work out for you when Obama was in office? As I recall, not too well. The markets were shit, gas was at all time record prices, BLM bolstered by his racist rhetoric were murdering our police officers and running amok in the streets with no consequences from the democrat mayors in the cities where they were causing the most damage (“we need to give them room to riot” (Mayor of a Detroit, remember that ?). Yeah, good times. Now, don’t get me wrong, Trump is about as classy as a turd in a punch bowl but at least we aren’t seeing the shit go on in this country that was going on. I voted for his dumb ass the first time because I’ll be damned if I put a woman in office that thinks it’s ok for her husband to defile the office the way that he did. I will not vote for him again however because he showed how much control the saudis have over him by his response to the Kashoggi murder at the hands of crown prince. To me, that proved what a despicable piece of shit he is by saying money over lives. As a matter of fact, I think it’s the Saudis who have the most dirt on him and not the Russians that everyone has been so crazy over. To you argument about gun control, it will never happen on this country and I’m not too sure that it shouldn’t on some level because I don’t understand why someone needs an AR15 or AK47. Are deer wearing bullet resistant vests now? I grew up in the country and we fished and hunted and all that other stuff but I never had a need for such weaponry. To allow possession of these weapons “because I can” in the world of mentally unstable millennials and kids that can’t separate Call of Duty from reality is beyond my comprehension. The country is too divided now to ever go back to decisions on government being made in he best interest if the people. I don’t know what the answer is but it’s become a scary place to be sometimes.
