I don't disagree with you -- I'm a therapist (and, yes, most of them ARE foo-foo liberal leftist f**ktards). Unfortunately, asylums are almost non-existent. Reagan signed the deinstitutionalization bill, but all it really did was spread the problems around. Psych wards and behavioral health hospitals do exist, most are short term, 6-18 months, which has been redefined as long term. Worse there is a liberal backed movement to close even more of these and send even the criminally insane back to the community.
If the US is the best country in the world, who is the next best? It might be a good idea to have a backup plan in case the US doesn't make it.
