Wait. You're suggesting that congressional districts that were Republican flipped to Democrat because of gerrymandering? That makes no sense. New gerrymandering only occurs once every ten years with the census.
There is currently one state (Maryland) that is gerrymandered to favor Democrats. Every other gerrymandered state (North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Florida, and formerly Pennsylvania) is in favor of Republicans. All of this is wrong, and there needs to be powerful nonpartisan oversight when districts are redrawn in 2020.
