There are many schools of leftism. Some of them are more authoritarian than others. Anarchism (the ideology that most antifa seem to share) is very much not authoritarian.

Anarchism on a spectrum would be conservative. On a spectrum it would be conservative, libertarian then anarchist. Anarchism is a society with no laws and government so nobody could be able to tell Nazis what to do. So no.

Well the core difference between communism and socialism is the condition vs opportunity. A communist government requires wealth redistribution via a centralized government. As far as I know a socialist state has never existed. From what I think you're asking (correct me if I'm wrong), is that "right" and "left" in our political climate are interchangeable with conservative and liberal (respectively). We know that the more liberal something is, the more equality there is. This is why communism (which teaches that all men are equal) is leftist, whereas monarchism (which teaches that one family is above all others) is rightist. Changing terms don't really change for extreme points, but rather the center. It would take centuries for the political spectrum to shift so that the extreme left becomes moderate (i.e. Enlightenment).

Liberal, democrat and traditional liberal are three different ideologies. As for the switch with communism in the democratic party it's more socialist than communist. My point was you can only kind of say that one thing is another. An example being that communism is a left-wing and not the same as democrat or liberal.

Well, I can't disagree with the fact that liberalism, democrat ideas, and traditional liberalism are different. My point was that other left-wing ideas can be more libertarian, whereas other right-wing ideas can be more authoritarian.

The spectrum is like a circle. The farther you go in any direction the more likely you are to overlap with someone of the other direction. Antifa has more in common with anarcho capitalism than they want to admit.

Antifa supporters often rally against Capitalism.

Anarchists are anarchists. They are on the left, and they are on the right. In the sense that ANTIFA is an anarchy based group, they have common ground with anarchist who want free reign capitalism.

Anarchists don't want government. People on the left and right still want government.
