Ok, let me be more specific: Where in the meme does it even remotely imply "20th Century Fox" instead of "21st Century Fox"? All it says is "Fox", nothing else. Not even in the title or the tags.

Well let me clear something up. 20th Century Fox is owned by 21st Century Fox which was acquired by Disney recently. But while 20th Century Fox is owned by 21st, 20th owns the Alien rights, as well as the rights to the first six Star Wars films. However, while 20th Century Fox will never lose the rights to the original 1977 Star Wars film, the fate of the rest of the franchise remains to be seen. That is why, on TV broadcasts of the first six films, we only hear the 20th Century Fox fanfare at the beginning of A New Hope.

In other words you read way, WAY too much into the meme, far more than was actually there, and now you're trying to justify it.

The problem is you can't justify your original comment with any reasonable logic. You responded with a complete non-sequitur.

In short, regardless of who owns 20th Century Fox, it will always own what can't be sold.
