My inclinations are bisexual, but I made a choice to only pursue heterosexual relationships because I wanted the traditional nuclear family with biological children. Also at the time I made to he choice gay marriage was not yet legal. Being straight would just be easier. So, I did make a choice, but I do not believe for a second that means others do, because I cannot imagine that if they had the choice, they would choose to make things harder on themselves and have things be more complicated.

I think the meme is referring to when you chose whom(general term) to feel attracted to.

People who say it is a choice typically say they are talking about the behavior.

How is that different from - In Christianity, sodomy and homosexual behavior as well as many heterosexual positions are sins. Everybody should accept this do not those things ever? How is that not oppressing everyone else based on a religious belief?

I never said anything about sin. I merely acknowledged the distinction between inclination, and the choice to act on it.
I am not religious and do not see anything wrong with acting on it because only consenting adults are involved.
But If we are discussing "sin", yes it's a sin, because sex is for procreation. Any sexual activity that is not intended for reproduction is a "sin". This puts homosexual behavior in the same category as promiscuity, use of birth control, and premarital sex. All of which our society currently accepts.

I accept your point with the stipulation that "much of our society currently accepts."

Any one that says that might as well say they have homosexual thoughts.
