Exactly! And binary is wonderful. But I really love the joys of hex (as in hexadecimal).

Each has its uses! :-)

If only DEAD people understand Hexadecimal, that would mean that 57005 people understand Hexadecimal.

The key is the word DEAD itself. It is a hexadecimal number that’s why it was in the word form. D was equal to 13, A was 10, E was 14 and the other D was also 13. Then each of the equivalent number is multiplied to the corresponding number in base 16 for each that will multiplied:

1 X 13 = 13
16 X 10 = 160
256 X 14 = 3584
4096 X 13 = 53248

Add it all up and get 57005

The old time programmers (and I'm an ancient one) know how to convert number bases that do a very nice job of representing Binary in shorthand format.

binary is as simple as Morse so if you master Morse code you can master Binary
