There's a proper time, a proper place, and a proper way to protest. That is none of these.

The flag and the national anthem are representative of our country ("the republic for which it stands").Those military men and women gave life and limb in service to the country those represent. Disrespecting them IS disrespecting their service and sacrifice. I will never see it any differently, and I very much doubt those who have served will either.

And some veterans joined ISIS.
