The Education System Be Like

anyone who thinks money is the problem with american schools is not paying attention. our educational system gets drastically more money PER STUDENT than many nations who outperform us academically. Also gonna point out that teachers have the entire summer to plan while the rest of society has to continue working. kthx.

You know, teachers also get a shitton of benefits. I think the whole "teachers are underpaid" cliche has been overplayed for far too long.

Hold up now lets take a look at what's really going on shall we? Let me tell you the changes just made at my school.
1. No phones at all even by teacher instruction for educational purposes
2. Our candy cart that we were lucky enough to have as a reward for good behavior and grades just got changed to a healthy snack cart
3. Loads more homework to the point where my mother can visibly see the stress in my face
Teachers aren't ven paid the same amount within schools, let alone county wide, state wide, or country wide. We work on unimportant matters for weeks and brreeze right on through the stuff that is difficult to understand. More of my friends are experiencing depression because of schoolwork and the stress it causes. We don't get the help and explanations we need. Yet the generalized thing that is wrong with school systems is standardized testing. Yes it's terrible but it's not the only thing. How about we spend less time complaining and more time acting.

Kind of difficult to act if the government says "F**k you, teachers get low money", and the law says you can't change that
