Maybe but regardless of delay...she/her "side" are not afraid of "losing" by asking for it.... plus the possibility of a countersuit for defamtion/slander would be there if they are lying and that would be a BIG risk too.... Yet they are asking FOR a thorough investigation....not afraid of the outcome.

Because it has been over thirty-five years and there is likely to be any conclusive evidence for or against Kavanaugh. Won't be able to disprove it happened any more than they can prove the affirmative.

Not if you can't prove it did not happen. Slander and libel suits require the burden of proof on the Plaintiff. Plus they would have to prove damage was done by the slander. Since it allegedly happened 35 years ago, it is unlikely that there would be evidence proving or disproving the allegation.

If this accusation results in Kavanaugh being taken down or other negative actions happen to him, AND it is found out that the accusations were false.....that's a slander suit waiting to happen.

If Ford's side is not worried about that happening you have to wonder why they are so confident.

Yes, if they could prove the accusations were false. However, it is so unlikely that they will be able to do so, I would feel confident making false accusations too. They, Ford and the Democrats backing her, are so confident because they know that it is highly unlikely to prove that she is lying.

It's not her , Feinstein and some sleazeball lawyer are doing all the talking . Like "Reality Winner" and the 2 Russian lady spies , she might not even exist .
