I know it's tough to let someone go. My parents and my wife's parents are all rapidly aging, and her mom has diagnosed dementia and my parents are showing signs. Hugs to you and your family.

I got a Daddy left and he's doing good for his age. Sadly, he lives about 800 miles away, but we like to talk in Google Hangouts and see each other several times a year. Aging is hard on everyone, so hang in there, and reach out when you need it. Hugs!

Yes! He climbed everywhere. I have a couple of others where he's climbed up somewhere, or is climbing, and most of them are taken by his mom. Now he only climbs to clean out the gutters, or roof the house. LOL!

Both my mom and my aunt died earlier this year within a month of each other. It's a sad thing, but I know they are in a better place than this wretched rock.

She had a losing battle with dementia for almost 5 years and in the end did not appear to know anyone, and I believe in eternity and resurrection, as did she. Thanks so much for your kindness! Our family appreciates all the good thoughts and prayers.

I'm also very sorry for your loss as well. It's not easy, and I think it will sometime hit me a little harder than it is now. I just know at some level she hated being trapped in the mind and body she had at the end.

The last few years she endured in her horrid aging body and mind can't have been easy. I believe in recreation, and hope to know her again when that happens. Thank you!
