You nailed it. It sicked me to vote for Trump but it was a vote against Hillary. I find it strange that American's tend to think their side is ran by great people, ignoring or explain away any scandal and will pitch fits when the other side gives them any excuse. I don't trust any of them and the longer they hold office the more I distrust them. So far, despite all the hate I have yet to see where Trump has done anything except attempt what he said he would do. He still owes us charges on Hillary, I do want to see that.

That's just it. Sides. Everyone is being brainwashed into thinking "We, the People", are on opposite sides. There's one team. It's the owners that we need to be against. Don't forget who tells the coaches what plays to run. Yup. The owners.

They all know each other and they all have the same agenda. Keep the peasants/slaves in the dark fearing and arguing with each other so they won't notice we not only run the whole show we own them, their parents and their kids and grandkids. There's nothing you can do unless you can find a way to get everyone to see it at the same time. Youth is busy being young to think any of it matters in their world. Age believes nothing can be done. Rich guys win.

FYI: I would NEVER cast my vote for a man accused of raping a minor and sexual assaulting several other women. (not even counting the metoo girls. I'm talking about before he ran for office this time. I voted for Hillary. The things she's accused of doing are a lot less than any of the men in office. You're right about one thing though. Career politicians and lifetime appointments need to be first on the chopping block. Second? Government officials should be paid what the people they represent get paid. If the average citizen in their district gets minimum wage with no benefits that's what they should get. Incentive to raise minimum wage to a living wage. The people in government list touch with"We, the People, centuries ago. Trump, Clinton, Obama, Jefferson, Lincoln, Washington and all the rest never did represent everyone. Not even when they write the Constitution. After it was written some of "We, the People", gathered together and told them they needed rights too. That's when the Bill of Rights made it's debut.

We've been a good little flock. I'm thinking it's way past time to end it all. Let the anarchy ensue. See what comes from the ashes. 35,000 years of murdering each other, and everything else that moves, is long enough to see this isn't working. We need a new plan.

It is hard to measure evil against evil, I would find it hard to believe that anyone enters politics to serve the people and even harder to have the kinds of money the Clinton's and Trump has by being honest and saving well. I never heard anything bad about Trump before he was in office, I did see plenty on the body trail that has followed the Clinton's.

I usually give people the benefit of the doubt but I am going with both parties are ran by self serving crooks. I see government as useful but need controlled. To little and you get a 3rd world effort, to big and you get communism. The rich did not get that way off each other they exploit the week and every political system has a good and bad side. In the end they only one that allows someone born in poverty to rise up is democracy, but I doubt there are any true democracies left.

I have heard about trump since the 80's. Didn't like his lack of morals or normal values back then. Didn't like him when he tried to run the first time but backed out because no one liked him. It had to be the perfect storm. I just hope we come out the other side better off than we are now but that's highly unlikely.

I would agree with that, I have meet people from New York city that knew all sorts of things the rest of us had never heard of. Next election we need a none of the above option.

This one broke me. We're taught how gov works in school but the reality is it's all about the money.

I've voted in every presidential election since I was 18. It just so happens that it was an election year. Not once has anyone in government, big or small, ever helped me out. Not one word babbled out of political mouths over the years made my ex pay child support or lowered my mortgage or given me enough money I could take a vacation like my parents could/did. My medical bills are still so stupid expensive I always think there's a typo. The only thing that ever changes is the amount of money they pay themselves. Have they ever voted down a pay raise? Have they ever refused a second or third retirement account? All of that comes out of your sweat and your broken back. They sometimes sit in an office but mostly they're playing golf, getting drunk and doing hookers on your dime telling everyone they work so hard they deserve waaay more than a working wo/man. The whole mess needs scrapped and something without corrupt people in power put back in it's place. I say...lock everyone of them up. All this neverending Obama/Clinton/trump racket and nothing has changed in my world. I spend a little more time thinking about how unstable society is now but that's the only difference. Oh...i make political memes. That's different. ROFL!

I turned network channels off a decade ago and got off Facebook this year. It's horrible in here. Outside I don't see anyone doing anything any differently than they did a quarter of a century ago. Different styles, cars and electronics. Same political BS. Round and round we go. Where we stop only the rich guys know. I'm so dizzy my head is spinning!

I would like to see the clowns in office wear patches of which corporation pays them. They don't make millions off their salaries even with all the raises they give themselves.

They should wear jackets with ALL of their sponsors patches sewn on like a race car. What's off is they all act like we're too stupid to notice.
