Yup. I had an incident with an old girlfriend where her son wouldn't stop banging on the door because he needed a credit card number while playing X-Box. And the girl actually got out of bed (while I was banging) and gave the credit card to him. Very romantic.
She said she knew the kid was just acting up, but family comes first. It was then I realized she wouldn't last very long. She didn't. :-)
Our son who was 2 at the time snuck into our room while we were otherwise occupied, and once we were done we realized he'd crawled in behind my husband and was peacefully sleeping , sucking his thumb. I don't think he remembers.
MOM AND DAD HAVE A "DATE NIGHT" AT HOME:; I SNUCK IN AND WATCHED THE LATE LATE SHOW, AND THEN NETFLIX, AND THEN HULU... WOKE THEM UP AT 5 AM SCREAMING FOR A "DRINK OF WATER"...ON SUNDAY MORNING!
