In my youth we had some EPIC rock and dirt clod fights!!!

Me too! One minute I'm just looking for spare change in the couch, and the next I feel a book. I thought it would be about something nice, but I was wrong...

My dad stored his in our old farmhouse. We still had and used our farm, just built a new house closer to town. I was rustling around it looking for an old item of mine that I thought must be there. Found a stack about 8 inches high in a cabinet. I was mildly shocked.

Just outa curiosity, did you actually look at the contents of those magazines?

We did BB gun fights and slap fights but we didn't have blow dart guns back then and we all had Wrist Rocket slingshots....you don't shoot at people unless you really want to f**k 'em up...those can be fatal...LOL

They were little slingshots we made with a "y" shaped stick and a rubber band, and we would shoot those little white sticks from suckers bent in half, the smaller the piece the faster they flew, and leave some pretty nifty welts, the blow darts were made from a pin, frayed piece of shoe lace, and tied with a thread, we got in trouble for that one at school. Pellets from a shot gun shell were great with a bic pen too.

Now I seem to remember making blow darts out of Straight pins, a small cone shaped piece of paper and a bic pen...also making paper stars and putting pins in each point...boy we were sadistic back then...LOL

It was just preperation for a lifetime of tats, needles, IV's. We used to do some pretty stupid stuff to ourselves and eachother. But the fights were fair, you went home when it got dark, and you only did anything wrong ONCE.

That was a lot of fun.

I've had Acorn fights with a couple friends before, those little things hurt like hell of you throw them hard enough

With us it was always rocks...sometimes at my Grandma's house we would use crabapples...LOL

Nah we used stand across the street from each other and chuck em, you know how hard it is to hit someone especially at like 12 and 13 with those little things lol but it was a lot of fun.

Now that would have hurt lol

Lol, we used to make acorn slings with a stick, and some string with a needle or nail on the end to hold the acorn. We used trash can lids as shields, too! X D
