Too bad you can't mute the price down to zero

They shout the price of every item, and after each scan, "please place your milk in the bagging area.... $1.99.... please place your bread in the bagging area.... $4.99.... please place your strawberries in the bagging area.... " so forth and so on. You hear this out of any one that any other person is using too. So it's really irritating.

They might change their policy, and you'll be more popular!

You juge because you don't know. Understandable. This is why I use the self check-out at this particular store. Their scanners are so loud that I cannot tolerate the beeping. It is like a knife through my brain every time I hear it. Their self-checkout is much more tolerable.

Why not wear earplugs? Because my hyperacusis comes from permanent nerve damage after a case of Bell's Palsy. The ear plug in the right ear sits on the nerve causing me pain in the right half if my face. I never heard of hyperacusis until It landed on me. It is not the most well known thing out there.
