AMEN... and might I add..
Gordon B. Hinckley was an amazing Prophet of God.
So was my favorite, Thomas S. Monson.
Both men had amazing things to say, that if someone would follow, would make this world a better place.
Utah has it's share of problems, that is for sure.
But most of those problems are because of people who do things contrary to being a decent human being.

If one wants to find meaning in their lives, parenting ideas, hope... LDS.org is where you'll find the answers :-)

I'm not sure I would completely agree with everything the Mormon Church preaches, and they haven't always supported this practice. In Kirtland Ohio Joseph Smith Jr. took the side of a couple of abusive parents against his brother William, creating a family conflict that lead to more arguments after the parents beat their daughter pretty bad.

More recently, on the occasions when they do have Mormon Murders they're often exceptional and related to religion, like the LeBarons, Lafferty Brothers, Lundgren of the RLDS and more.

There is a HUGE difference between the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Reorganized LDS or RLDS church.
HUGE difference.
My ex was abusive, when I finally shared what a monster he was, he was kicked out of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I wish I had spoken out about him sooner, but grateful that when I finally did, something was done about him and his evil behavior. It was NOT Christ like at all.
He went on to kill a man in cold blood and got away with it cause of his family connections. He will pay for that someday, and all the other things that he has done and continues to do.

Every religion has good, and every religion has bad people. Just like every culture, society, country, state.... there is good and bad everywhere. The important thing is to realize they are all made up of people. Don't judge a race or religion on the actions of the very few.

If someone wants to know what the "Mormon" church really believes... go to the source...
