Adjustment takes time, but you will learn to accept it. He was your buddy, and a big part of you.
It is a beautiful painting, you are quite talented, and it's just another way to keep his memory alive.

Weekend is going fine, although it’s cloudy.
Just picked up the ashes of my little buddy today. It wasn’t too depressing, so that’s cool.
I take comfort in knowing it was the right thing to do.
I appreciate your kindness and you are exactly what I expected from the internet when I first went online. I thought, what a great thing! People all over the world could communicate and then realize that we really could get along. That’s not how it goes all the time, but I have hope.

My poor kitty cat has gone to Heaven :-(
He was getting very thin and was sent on his way to Heaven before any suffering.

He does look quite happy. Although I am sure he was happy any time you were petting him. You know he loved you too.
He was a good friend that will live in your heart forever. And you have so many pictures to remember the good times you had with him.

I’m still getting used to not seeing him in his favorite places, or greeting me at the door, but things are getting better.
This is an oil painting I did when he was very young. I was just getting into art, and this was my fourth painting. It’s an 8 x 10 based on a photo of my little buddy perched in the window.
I hope our pets are playing together in Heaven :-)

Some time ago, I had petted him for you. So this happy face he had was for you.
The picture of him looking out the window was his last picture. He was at the vet, moments before the procedure.
He’ll live in my heart, and he gave me so many laughs :-)
