I also eat meat, but try to buy it from local farmers when I can afford it.

Good plan, better meat. I raise birds for eggs and some for food, buy 1/4 cow once a year and take two deer. Except when I go out with friends I rarely buy meat.

We have a friend who raises grass fed beef. When we can we also buy eggs from friends who sell them as a business, but they live far away.
