black men cannot kneel at a football game to raise awareness that racism is alive and well in our criminal justice system, but it's purely fine to wave this flag alongside the American flag and call it "patriotic". I feel anyone has a right to wave this flag, just like anyone has a right to take a knee and should not be punished by the government for doing so. I don't believe this flag needs to be in a public place funded by the taxpayers of a state in America, where the whole populace has to look at it.I would hope the people who fly this flag come to understand that their actions also will speak louder than the symbol if they also respect the rights of others to protest, mourn, and advocate for a better America.
