Yes, it is censorship, but as a private company, they have the lawful right to do it. Two different issues.

I agree. While immoral, it is legal.

It is legal AND moral. Especially when the goal of one group is to harass the other into leaving, the only moral stance is to stand up against the bullies and thugs...in this case, right-wing liars, hate-mongers, etc.

They aren't private websites. They are publicly traded companies with absolutely no right to censor anyone outside of their already posted rules. Your argument is ignorant.

You clearly don't know what "Private" means. And you dare to call me an ignoramus. Typical right-wing nut-job with no real understanding.

Public-traded companies are still privately owned. Ergo, it is up to the CEO or Board of Directors, not the PEOPLE, to dictate what can and cannot be said and done on that company's platform.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse; it just means you're a Trumpette.

1) Trumpette isn't an insult, so go a head and keep using it.

2) The people can dictate quite a bit, actually. You piss off the customers, you lose your customers and your business goes belly-up.

3) It is not the same as a privately owned business in a local town. Facebook is a publicly traded company and the law is the law. Yes, you can ban people from using your company, but the CEO cannot just say, "ban that idiot" and they get banned. There is a group that decides. And if they ban you from using their product and you haven't violated any terms and conditions, you can sue the company if you can prove it.
