Now you are starting to get it, a supremacist holds an extreme view. A view that overrides all others and makes dialogue impossible. Your view. My meme is mine, a simple opinion, it wasn't directed at your, about you or any single group. You had several options, ignore it, like it, agree , disagree or attack the messenger (extreme view), we see which you picked.

The meme was a response to the silly attacks on bakers. Don't make a cake and activists filled with rage attack and attempt to ruin a business and someones life's work (extreme view). Rarely is that type of hate justified but that doesn't matter much to a lgbt supremacist. The baler did not refuse to make, sell or decorate any cake except a single type, every other cake was for sell.

What the lgbt supremacist should have tried (instead of visiting dozens of bakeries to make an extreme point) was dialogue. The could have invited the baker out to show them that they really were in love and could live together as a happy and married couple.

No telling if dialogue would have worked but it had a better chance than attempting to wreak some strangers life. An attack which caused enough media spin that other bakers also refused to sell wedding cakes to the lgbt community.

You are blind to the possibility of a lgbt supremacist despite all evidence, an extreme view.

Oh damn. Here I am absolutely owned because my view is an "extremist view" after I "attacked the messenger" (while making no strawmen, ad hominem fallacies, or any of the sort) by telling you my experience with the LGBT community. I'm not denying LGBT supremacists exist; I'm just saying I've never met any, keyword "met". Now because I commented on an image I'm an "extremist" (rather than someone who disagrees). For the longest time I thought extremists were the kinds of people that fly planes into buildings or lynch minorities. Now extremists have to be the bulk of everyone a person disagrees with, and all it takes is for someone to make a half-assed comment on an image now. thank you for teaching me how it works.

"You had several options, ignore it, like it, agree , disagree or attack the messenger (extreme view), we see which you picked. "

Actually, the options out there were these: ignore, Upvote, Downvote, comment, agree, disagree, flag, get a bunch of alts to flag your image, get a bunch of users to flag your image, hack the entire site so that your entire account gets deleted, or (not going to say this one). Which would you say was the extremist view?

I understand you were talking bakers and the gay wedding cake issue. I understand that, and I don't think the plaintiffs should have sued the baker rather than go find a different bakery. However, I wouldn't call them "supremacists" as they are selfish.

To be honest, even if I did find your views extreme, that IMHO doesn't make you an actual extremist. You will have to work harder if you want to move up a notch. It does look like you worked far harder on your response than I did on mine, so cudos for that.

I am guessing that since you are not one of the people that spend hours trolling me that we could actually find common ground on some issues that we both find important enough to comment on. I like that about you and I hope that you never do meet an actual supremacist (of any type.) I have and they are not nice people.

Thank you for that response. It's rare to see a response like that on this site especially. I don't see myself as an extremist, and I do my best to hold a rational view on a topic; call it libertarian (you don't have to call it that; that's what I call it, anyway).

For example, on LGBTQ issues I support many of the causes of the LGBTQ movement such as trans rights and lifting bans against gay marriage. However, the LGBTQ community need to tone down with the child drag queens. Children are children, not glorified objects, and we shouldn't intervene with their interests. Fortunately, I have seen signs of ordinary, conventional people (by that, I mean non-celebrity) of the LGBTQ community disassociating themselves with MAPs, and I'm sure the same people would agree with me on the child drag queen issue.

I don't usually spend hours after a particular person. When I found this image, I found it under the "lgbt" tag on the site. I think we definitely can find common ground on issues these days, despite my condescending manner on IMGflip. Back in 2016, though I look at 2016 as the better days of IMGflip, I used to be vehemently left-leaning, and believed every person with a left-leaning idea. These days I've toned down by politically-based rhetoric and started doing research on topics. I've learned that the left has done more to censor science than the right has, particularly IQ differences (which is something I'd like to learn about).

Thank you for your concern. I hope I never meet any extremists either, which is what I'm careful about when on this site. Usually when I criticize a meme for being "boomer", I don't intend to attack the person, but rather the quality of the meme. The article I read regarding boomer memes did show examples of the worst kind (the easy-to-read abundance of text and stock imagery are huge factors of quality). However, I admit, I do get out of hand when criticizing the images based on the age-group of the person who made them. It may come from my political bias, but I've criticized liberals on this site as well (namely laonsite) as conservatives. My criticisms of liberals don't get seen as much as my criticism of conservatives, however, due to the leanings of the site itself.
