Which isn't true either because Native Americans revered animals and regarded them as highly spiritual beings. What Western civilization doesn't get is the fact that these indigenous peoples gave back to the land what they took, for thousands of years, hence why everything was so pristine when the whites finally came to rape and pillage everything they got their hands on. Pollution, destruction, that's all western civilization's doing, and in a relatively short period of time. Are we really so much better off than they were?
