Mainly because the police should be trained not to kill, but rather shoot to injure and let their target have a judicial review. The lion who killed the poachers, on the other hand, was most likely hungry and resorting to predatorily instincts.

Oh hi, you again. I do not agree with that comment. I've spoken to the lions and they assured me they are the law enforcement group of the Game Preserve. They DO NOT attack to merely injure. Getting to eat the perpetrators is just a bonus - hungry or not.

Seriously, the point of that meme was that I saw posts from people saying that the poachers deserved to die because they were killing innocent endangered animals for profit only. Fair enough, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. And I agree. Hope it was a slow, painful and brutal death. BUT, some of those same folks had previous posts similar to yours saying that the police are automatically in the wrong if they happen to kill murderers, rapists and other menaces to society. Why should one group of murderers be any more deserving than the other?
