I would say telemarketer. They can reach you any time of day or night and call from randomly generated numbers. You have to be home for the JWS to visit. Both van be ingnoted by not answering though.

Yup. And also singing up for the Do Not Call list - although that will only *reduce* the calls.

For the door knocking crowd, I used to verbally abuse them. Then I grew up. :-)
