All those who are by nature, good, are worthy of love, yes?
And wouldn't you agree that all those who love evil are worthy of more than scorn?
Since God is by His very nature, eternally good (Psalms 136:1 & Exodus 34:6-7) so all those who do love what is good ought to love Him.
He is not only worthy of love but He is our creator. Thus, He has an inherent right to do as He pleases with us.
We are created for His glory and what gives Him glory is not our love alone but to walk in righteousness (Isaiah 43:7, Psalm 111:10, & James 1:27) but in our sin, we've broken every law (Romans 3:9-18, 23a). In His goodness requires justice and as a creator, He is well in His right to send us to the deepest part of Hell.
And yet, from His goodness He is also merciful and loving as He sent His only Son to take our place of wrath, on the cross, so that by faith we will be saved (Isaiah 53:5-6, 10, Romans 5:8, 8:1-2).
Jesus who did not deserve ill, having not sinned once, died for us and rose again from the dead so we don't have to go to hell. Thus He is all the more deserving of our love... but deny His son for all that He did for us, we coincidently deserve equal and opposite wrath.
So yes, love Him not, and be sent to Hell. He owe us notthing but we owe Him all.
