The whole "separation of illegal immigrants from their children" has been going on for decades.
I'm fine with businesses denying service for whatever reason they want. The government should not get involved (like the court system does in the case of Christians who refuse to participate in same sex ceremonies) but the "court of public opinion" will always get involved.
