because a lot of people start to forget that it's not about arguing injustice, but honoring sacrifices. Just because we honor the fallen does not mean we condone injustice. We will do well to remember not to hijack meaning for our own commentaries...hijacking meaning is what the hypocrites do.

What if you can’t stand?

Then of course, you’re not expected to. If it’s because of serving in wars, someone should stand for you...

Wouldn’t it make more sense to stop war so we don’t have to do this?

Yes it would. If everyone would do as Jesus said and love their neighbor as themselves, there would be no war. Or starving children. Or many dieseses... but unfortunately there are evil men in the world who don’t want to do that. And we must protect our families from them. Plus war makes money. And the people who control the money are greedy bastards, so...,

Yeah, but the rich won’t let that happen.
