Haha. Yeah, same here. My kid is only in grade school and she hates getting up. I told her she needs to get used to it bcause she has years to go. :)

I home school my kids and they still have to get up early! They aren't usually too bad, but around this time of year they get harder to get up.

Quick question about summer school...Do you take a summer break?

We do. It's not as long as public school takes, but I do give them a week off every 6 weeks, and certain holidays.

That's the way to go! That makes more sense for kids to retain things when they don't have that long summer break. If i didnt have to work I would homeschool in a heartbeat.

Also they got BORED!

I was in a hme school group back when I used facebook. A lot of working families were doing it and it was very difficult unless the kids could be trusted to teach themselves. Not all kids will do that, or should do that. Considering aside from work, all the household chores, cooking atc... you would never get a break.

That's crazy! I could see maybe two parents homeschooling and working opposite shifts. That could be good if you don't want to be around your spouse that much hahaha

Btw, there was another couple of school shootings today...
