When I had Bell's Palsy, I couldn't close my right eye for 6 months unless I did so manually. I had to sleep wth my face in the pillow so I didn't sleep with the eye open. LOL!

I would have thought you'd need eye drops and a patch.

I tried a patch but it made it hard to see. I used a LOT of eye drops too. I always laugh because the whistling as you mention below was definitely not doable! Neither was putting on lip stick! LOL!

Actually my step-daughter had that. She walked in one day saying she couldn't whistle.
