Farewell!

Hmmmm were shall I start. Well for those who don't know me, my name is Father_Time or Sir_Unknown former member of the top 100. I am here to announce my official Imgflip.com retirment. I have spoken of this before but I finally decided it was time to move on. Let me tell you a story. January 23 2017. A user by the name of Sir_Unknown joined imgflip. For my first two months I made memes with only 5 to 7 upvotes at the maximum. Then comes March. I verified my account and reached 50k points. Here I met the user by the name of Jying. A great if not best friend on the site. After that I released my first week. Chuck Norris week. Also the reason that's the meme template I used. :p It was a instant success. My meming carrer really started to pick up around June and went up the ultimately down. In June a flood of new users came to this website. Including Jessica_ and Chad. Those people and many other helped my go from 5 to 7 upvotes to almost every meme I made hit the front page. Towards September I started to loose my grip. Memes got sloppy and I didn't enjoy making them. I overall stopped and later deleted my account. (Worst choice of my life) These are some users I'd like to thank.

Well, I'm sad. Chuck Norris week was a blast and there was a lot of other fun stuff too. I guess the silver lining is that imgflip (I hope) will always be here and I look forward to seeing you someday somewhere. Thanks for the shoutout, I'm honored you included me.

My only fear is to be forgotten. People like you help me with that. :)

Because - get this - he wants to spend time with his kids while they're still kids!

By the way,thanks ofr telling me about Alter Bridge.A really nice band.As a sign of graditude,I recommend you my all-time favourite band,Blind Guardian.Best starter songs in my opinion are The Bard's Song(In the Forest),Mirror Mirror and Nightfall).And they sing quite a lot about time(Traveler in Time,Time What Is Time,Wheel of Time,At the Edge of Time,Time Stands Still At The Iron Hill)!

I'm glad you liked Alter Bridge. One of my favorite bands. For sure I'll check out these guys. I may have heard there music for sure but I'll make sure to listen to them. :)
