I hope this helps someone, if it does, be sure to show me what you did with the info. I should also add this is done on a computer, I haven't tried with a phone or tablet.

Yeah. THANKS. BUT I CANNOT Figure out how to make all these layers into something. Or anything. I feel like I need someone to take me through a step-by-step once or twice so I can actually see what to do. Meanwhile, Microsoft paint it is! SIGH....

Okay, I did a step by step for you and for anyone else who might get something out of it. Keep in mind it takes a little practice with the resizing and layering. I practice a lot on comments, much of my stuff came from a comment meme.

Thank you for taking the time to do that. It is appreciated! I will have time to practice with it this week end. I'll share if I am successful!

No problem, I like helping anyone who wants to learn and be creative. You may pick something up along the way and share it with me. The best I can say is start simple. :)

Well explained, sir. I do, however, prefer to edit the picture before using it as a template (easier reuse that way).

Agreed, sometimes even several saves along the way. I could have gotten a little more detailed I suppose, but I really just wanted to encourage people to get out there and actually create something. I fussed about reposts, so I should do something more constructive than fussing. Thanks for your comment, great job with that BLB Zucker. If I could photoshop like some of you guys......

Fahrenheit enough I suppose.

The image on the blue background is actually a transparency, some of the blue back does show through.
The image I resized much larger than the background so as to get clouds and sun rays that showed larger than had I used the image as is or resized to fit the work area.
(At this point for anyone just starting out I would suggest generating a meme, saving it to your computer and uploading into a new meme. It makes it easier to manipulate the layers to come.)

next came the base layer of clouds, resized and moved to the bottom to give the dog somewhere to stand.

add and resize smaller cloud to partially obscure the dog to give some depth and dimension.

finally, add, position and resize the hand of god

Completed.
You can also use these same techniques with grass, tree, shrubs, ocean people, anything.

I'm confused, searching for dog .png returns nothing. Nothing i searched for returned anything. Where are you finding these images? Just Google image search?
1 up, 6y
Google image search works. I prefer image searching with bing, it has a few more options on the search but either way is ok. If you're using a pc or a tablet I can't vouch for success, a pc should be no issue. Let me know what browser you are using, (chrome/firefox/IE/Safari) and give me your exact search phrase and I will try to help.
