Guess he doesn't need the medical. ;-) As we grow older, that becomes a major factor in our lives. Special Diets: picture a prisoner with type 2 diabetes, the most common factor of aging these days. Privatized prisons wouldn't want to deal with it. Hell, Nursing homes don't want to deal with it. Cost of prescription drugs would drain more from the bottom line, and, in today's litigious society, those same corporations and government entities that contract would be targeted so fast it wouldn't be funny. That's one key to cause a senior to step over the line, especially when there's another financial meltdown that would wipe out their retirement plans.
