This meme is inspired by a song written in the year 2000 and sung by Nichole Nordeman, also inspired by someone I've heard from.
Have you noticed the cycle of life in plants, particularly the tree leaves and flowers where they would grow after Winter, bloom in Spring, reach their peak in Summer, but begin to age in the Fall, and die in Winter?
Outside of scripture the evidence of God is in His creation, even the godhead the scriptures says. so no one is without excuse (Romans 1:18-23). The knowledge of Him is such that even the seasons bear His glory, not just the heavens (Psalms 19:1-4)t & in the seasons illustrates the Gospel Message
Spring: Christ is born
Summer: Christ lives
Fall: Christ is crucified
Winter: Christ died
Spring: Christ Rose again from the dead
The seasons bears this out beautifully.
Of course, not all could see this seasonal display as some are continually hot like Saudi Arabian peninsula, remains lush as they are in the jungles of South America, or ever cold in northern tundra of Siberia, but I'm sure God has other ways. For example, the Sun rises and the Sun falls.
Has anyone realized the message? God only knows, but it is likely a no due to human blindness to God because of his sinful state (1 Corinthians 2:14).
Was it for nothing? Certainly not. Those whose eyes were opened to the things of God will see things more clearly or it would be revealed to them. Such as those like Nichole Nordeman, or those who taught her.
