How much longer before they ban all knives, and food companies have to pre-cut our food for us like 2 year olds?

That's already a thing. I'm registered as a weapon in the US. I seriously think the next step in the U.K. is to ban martial arts if they're able to get rid of knives.

I had to register when I became a professional mma fighter. If you're not registered you can't fight. To be fair not every professional should really be considered a lethal weapon. It's just political junk.

There's probably military training that requires registration but I think anybody can go get themselves registered so they can feel cool.

Then it's not quite the same, though I'm not trying to be argumentative or anything. I'm talking about them taking it to the extreme step of being /required/ to "register or go to prison", even if you don't compete or aren't in the military.

I can totally see that happening. First it will be government registration forms at your kids karate class. Then, after the first person gets murdered by a kung fu master, they'll just ban martial arts all together.

It's not unheard of. The US outlawed martial arts in Japan after ww2.
