Except it was also men who prevented them from voting in the first place, and they only gave them that right after years of (sometimes violent) protests from suffragettes; and even then they didn't give black women the right to vote until much later down the line. I'm just saying maybe don't give credit to people for solving an issue they were solely responsible for in the first place.
