Actually, in Judaism yes. It's called a yahrzeit, Yiddish for "anniversary" (literally "time of the year"). It rhymes with BAR fight, with the z pronounced like ts in cats. A prayer called Kaddish (KAH-dish) is recited by family and friends in memory of the person.
