1) Epicurus was not an atheist. What he actually said was "What gods there may be do not trouble themselves with us". Basically that there were gods but they didn't waste time worrying about human drama. 2) This is a logic argument about the abstract concepts of good and evil, which is as pointless as making a logic argument about love.
