I heard that if a dog is attacking you, you grab his jaws and pull them open. It will poop and run away.
I have never been attacked by a dog so I never got to test if that works. XD
I doubt it would work the same with cats, but I guess I would give it a try. In the meantime I would just hope that cage holds out!
