What about: Police need to be better vetted and trained to treat everyone regardless of race the same way in the same situation, even when being verbally abused. They are, after all, being paid by we the taxpayers. Conversely, reasonable gun laws are even favored by people who own guns but think those guns need to be tracked better and the possible owners vetted more thoroughly to reduce the possibility of a larger number of deaths.But I guess that doesn't make for a very elegant or pointedly negative meme.

But the police already are extremely vetted, and we already have a ton of gun laws. Maybe the problem isn't so much either of those factors, but instead the media spinning a narrative?

So the police will fight illegally-armed thugs with... night sticks and harsh language? Maybe a few dogs?

Woah now, so you actually just want to destroy all weapons in the world? That's some pipe dream that will never happen.

Let's not change subject and move goal posts here. Why do you think police should not have guns? You'd think that would be helpful to protect themselves and citizens. Or do you have some delusion that no weapons will mean no crime and no crazy people?
