isayisay was getting harrassed by some user or users hiding like little girl(s) behind a bunch of alt accounts. I remember isayisay saying he had stuff getting downvoted to submitted last Summer and Autumn, so isay started sending stuff around before submitting it to get some protective upvotes and comment threads going from top users. When his stuff started featuring with 10+ upvotes, that brought out alt-troll accusations that isayisay was upvoting himself and he was the return account of a previous user. Some of the harassment can be read in the comments on imgflip.com/i/20td9a imgflip.com/gif/20td3k and imgflip.com/gif/20ngjl I'm guessing that took the fun out of imgflip, after putting in 150 comments a day for six months ie about 27000 comments. isay told me he was leaving just before Christmas and had business travel overseas coming up.

Seems like the same troll or trolls started attacking imgflip.com/user/supersaiynblueyasir on his own memes after that, accusing ssby of being an isayisay alt account.

Long story short, there is/are users who are butthurt by other users having success on imgflip and have opinions on how one should get there. Opinions they need to express via alt accounts, because they are too chicken to use their main account.

I'm not one for long responses so please don't get offended if I dont have something big to say. I for one think isay should come back. You wanna know something funny? When I was still Sir_unknown he rose up so quick when I first saw him I was about to give him advice. Then I looked at his points and he was already 300k points ahead of me. He is a good meme and should return one of these days. He will forever be infamous on this site.

I agree, I hope isayisay comes back. I think JBmemegeek may be in touch with isayisay, said something about it on one of the linked memes.

We could only hope that one day everyone inactive or deleted returns.
