Ok. Well, if the sun orbited the earth like it would in a globe earth model on a flat earth model, it would either be day or night everywhere. So, in the flat earth model, the sun orbits around the north pole. However, there is one problem with this: unless light defies everything we know about it, the entire space frisbee will always be bright. If this were to actually work out, the sun would need a lampshade. This lampshade would also have to Shapeshift to light up different parts of the world at different times of the year. Plus, the sun's patterns at the poles would literally burn the world.
