It's sad to see racism at an all time high in my lifetime. People need to get over themselves and stop this us against them crap

Yes, racism will always be around. The idea that we can completely get rid of it or force it gone, is ridiculous. However, some presidents bring it into the open and make it okay to hate certain groups.

i have not noticed an increase or decrease in white racism at any point in my life. 43 years now.

Obama certainly restarted the fires of racism, but sadly Trump and Trumpism have thrown napalm on the fire. I know things have been far worse in the past, but things had gotten much better up until the last decade and it's set us back for at least a generation.

The big difference right now is racism toward white people. And racism to me is wrong no matter who it's against.

There's been racism against all races, yes. However, it has been okay in recent years to openly bash and hate white people now. Especially conservative white people.

I'd say racism is coming from white people to others as much as it is black to white etc. When you have a president endorsed by David Duke and then refuses to disavow the endorsement, a president who is regularly praised by Duke and the KKK for his speeches and policies, and when the president appoints three white nationalists to his cabinet, it's a major problem.

Actually, he did disavow them.

And I'd say the same thing about our last president, but he was far worse and took race relations back to the 1800's, only now we're suddenly hating whitey. Racism is racism, no matter how you cut it. I don't condone it on any level. I can take racial jokes because I know that they're jokes poking fun at each other's races, but when it gets serious, that's where I draw the line.

President Obama was a racist and it showed. I have yet to see where Donald Trump comes off as a racist. Wanting to deport illegals isn't racist, it's actually a President who is trying to uphold the laws already on the books. As for him hating black people and women, not sure how that narrative came about.

Racist means someone who doesn't like imagination or a national because nowadays you can't be proud to be white yet you can be a proud illegal immigrant the far-left is taking over and the only opposition is the alt-right imo. am I the only sane person in a world gone mad
